AIJIC to Oppose One Call's Motion for Summary Judgment

AIJIC will oppose a motion to dismiss its lawsuit against One Call, whom it sued in January 2024 as a result of instances of theft of interpreter's names and credentials.

In May of this year, One Call filed a motion for summary judgment asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit. In this motion, One Call argues, without any supporting evidence, that the impersonations introduced in litigation are less than 0.003% of all their interpreted depositions and that the problem is no longer occurring. Their motion, and AIJIC's opposition to their motion, will be heard by the court on 1/8/2026 in Department 36 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
