Judicial Council Call for Bids to Provide Telephonic and Remote Interpreter Service

AIJIC is in ongoing talks with CFI and AAPTI to discuss the Judicial Council call for bids for third parties to provide telephonic and remote interpreter services for the California courts.

The call for proposals indicates that the services would be for court proceedings (among other things) and leaves it up to the vendors to verify the competency of the interpreters, whom the call for proposals specifies can be "qualified."
